Patricia Ann “Pat” (Peden) Adams, 73 unexpectedly passed away on November 4, 2021, at her home in Delta Junction, Alaska, with her husband Dan Adams, by her side. She was born on November 11, 1947, in Jackson, Mississippi. Pat attended public schools there, graduating from Provine in 1965. She was a proud member of Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society, proving her academic excellence. She moved to Canton, MS, where she married her first husband, Jimmie Fred Watford, and had a son and daughter before moving to Alaska. They had another daughter and son there before divorcing. She worked on the Alaska Pipeline for several years, where she met the love of her life, Dan Adams. Dan and Pat married on February 14, 1983, and added a son to their family.

Pat leaves a legacy of her Christian faith and her unconditional love for her family. She loved being a wife, mom, and homemaker. She lived each day wanting to talk and spend time with her family. Pat was known for her hospitality. You could always count on a hot meal and a glass of sweet iced tea in her home. Her door was always open to her large family, welcomed anytime, day or night.

Pat was predeceased by her parents Bill and Betty Peden.

Pat is survived by her husband Dan Adams, and her children Shane/Deanna Watford, Angela Adams, Tracey Bivins, Josh/Jonelle Watford, and Jack “Danny” Adams. Grandchildren: Kristina and Kandi, Marki and Caden, Kate and Alyson, and Arlene. Great-grandchildren: Faith, Adam, Gemma, Charlotte, Luke, Sophia, and Kenai.

She is also survived by her sister and brother Ginger Peden and Bill/Joyce Peden of Springfield, MO, and sister Nancy Barnes of Dover, NH. Nieces/nephews: Marie Russo, Brian Russo, and Wendy/Matt Young.

The motto next to Pat’s name in her high school yearbook describes her entire life perfectly: Learn to live and live to learn.
