Obituary
Nancy-Joy Green,87, passed away in her home in Fairbanks on February 23, 2023, of natural causes.
She was born June 26, 1935 in Seattle, Washington, to Perry and Muriel Gillespie. They moved to Alaska in 1953 living in Copper Center and Fairbanks. She married Russell Green in August of 1973.
Nancy-Joy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her brother Virgil (Jan) Gillespie, her 10 children and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy-Joy was greatly loved and will be missed by them all.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Fairbanks Hospice team whose care and compassion has been greatly appreciated.
