Nancy Graff, age 67, of North Pole, AK passed away peacefully on 4/8/2023, surrounded by family and loved ones. Nancy was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in El Monte, CA.
Nancy was a lifelong volunteer for many different organizations to include the North Pole Ptarmigans 4-H club, Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District and the Tanana Valley State Fair. Nancy held a seat as a Board Member for nine years and was just reelected to another term. She was a Livestock Superintendent in the barns and a few years ago became co-superintendent for all the livestock barns.
Nancy was a tremendous volunteer for the local and state 4-H programs. She received the State Salute to Excellence Award in 2010 for Alaska. She then advanced to win the Regional and National Awards. She was recognized as the Tanana District 4-H Leader of the year, twice in 2006 and 2015. The community will greatly miss Nancy’s contribution to the local area and its youth.
Nancy enjoyed family, friends, animals, volunteering, and church services. Nancy will be most known for her servant’s heart; she was always willing to give herself and time to others.
Nancy was a ray of sunshine to all. She was always positive, kind & respectful to others, and lived devoutly as a woman of Christ. She truly had a beautiful heart & soul with unshakable faith.
Nancy will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Nancy was predeceased by parents Norma & Louis Spiva, sister Natalie Spiva and daughter Ashley Graff.
She was survived by husband Ed Graff, son Garrett & Sabrina Guim, daughter Hannah & Tab Key II, daughter Hope & Johnathan Ortiz. Grandchildren Erica Wilmes, Nathan Jackson, Lain Guim, Noah Guim, Braelyn Shook, Jacob & Silas Mork, Tab Key III, Haddie Key, Mia Ortiz, Brooklyn Ortiz, and Leila Ortiz.
