Kenneth Glen Brock 66, of Fairbanks passed away on Friday October 8, 2021 at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
Ken was born on January 3rd 1955 in Lake County California and is the son of Eloise and Earl Brock. Ken Grew up in Ceres California and had a love of the outdoors which led him to move to Juneau, Alaska in the early 80’s and later living in Homer, Soldotna, Wasilla and finally Fairbanks. He enjoyed fishing on the Kenai with family and friends, camping, four-wheeling, and hanging out at the cabin. Ken worked on North Slope for many years in the Water Wastewater field and then retiring from the local IBEW 1547 in Fairbanks.
He will always be remembered for his larger than life personality, big heart and willingness to help those in need. Ken had a sense of humor, a persistence and drive in life that knew no limits. He always won you over and helped out those in need he hardly knew.
Ken is survived by mother, Margie Brock, and six siblings Twyla McCandless (Jerry), Harlan Brock (Susie), Gary Brock (Cindy), Cliff Brock (Debbie), Sonia Brock, Lonnie Brock (Elizabeth). He is also survived by his two sons, Robert (and Ana), Anthony (and Carie), partner Denise Grahek and family, and grandchildren Connor (due in December), Levi, Timmy, and Eva.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 3pm at Blanchard Family Funeral Home; 611 Noble St.
