Cassandra L. Davis, age 44 of Fairbanks, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Cassandra was born in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1977 and lived in the area except when the love of her life, husband Christian was assigned by the army in Texas and Georgia. She leaves behind three beautiful children to whom she gave birth: Gavin, Kailey and Dahilya, as well as the many children she chose as family: Keira, Kaitlin, Kayla, Kalyn, Brooke, Chloe, Gabriela, Carina, Madilynn, Faith, Cailel, Tobias, Haylee, Ivan, and Landon. Grand children: Mason, Kyler, Avalon, Sophia, and Summit. Sons-in-law: Harley, Gunther, and Ben. She also leaves behind her loving husband Christian Davis, her parents Carol and Dennis Holtry and siblings Daryl Holtry, Dan Holtry, and John Holtry.
Cassandra loved the beach, her place to recharge. Her passion was people. The amazing impact she had on those she chose as family, only eternity will reveal. She never met a stranger, only someone she didn’t know yet.
Cassandra showed her love of God through her love of people. She will be dearly missed by all who have been touched by her smile; her help, warmth, love and understanding.
On the final day of her earthly journey, Cassandra shared this testimony with her friends, Psalms 91:2, “I will say of the LORD He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust”
