Sharon Lynn Clendaniel, age 71 of North Pole, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Sharon was born on July 2, 1947 in Inglewood, California to Donald and Carol Williams. She grew up in Hawthorne, CA where she completed all of her schooling. Sharon and her family moved to Alaska in 1985 when her husband was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base. She was an Officer’s wife and was involved with many organizations throughout the years. She worked at Alaska USA, Alliance Bank and retired from the State of Alaska. Sharon was an avid reader, loved to crochet, bake and cook, and helped at her Church. She enjoyed helping children better their reading skills at the local schools. She always lent a helping hand and open heart to anyone she knew. Sharon was a devoted Mother and her children and grandchildren were her heart and soul and very much her pride in her life.
Sharon is survived by her daughter and son in law, Heather and Chris Snider and their children, Dawson Snider, Chase Snider, Kieran Snider, and Casey Tiebout all of Port Orchard, WA, Son, Brett Clendaniel and his children, Somi Clendaniel, Sobina Clendaniel, and Sean Clendaniel all of North Pole, brothers, Doug Williams of Boerne, TX and Michaels Williams of Thousand Oaks, CA, and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Donald Williams and Stanley Williams.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church.
