Ryan T. Harley “Ry-Guy”, age 31 of Fairbanks, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Seattle from natural causes.
Ryan was born on August 22, 1987 in Philipsburg, PA to Thomas and Sandra Harley. He spent his early childhood in the Appalachian Mountains in Pennsylvania snake hunting and bike riding. He moved to Fairbanks in 2000 and attended high school at Monroe Catholic. He was involved with Joel’s Place, loved skateboarding and BMX/ Flat Land bike riding. He was an avid music lover and enjoyed playing guitar, drums and piano. Ryan loved playing with his laser pointer, slingshot and Red Ryder BB Gun. Ryan was always quick at giving a hug and smile to those around him and will be loved and missed by all of his family and friends that knew him.
Ryan is survived by his father, Thomas Harley in Dansville, PA, mother, Sandra Harley of Fairbanks, sister, Rebecca Harley of Fairbanks, grandfather, Charles Meyers of Deland, FL, aunt, Elizabeth Mark and family of Hiawatha, Iowa, uncle, William Harley and family of Princeton, NJ, uncle, Richard Meyers and family of Morrisville, PA, uncle David Meyers and family of Deland, FL, aunt, Lisa Meyers and family of Morrisville, PA, uncle, Phillip Meyers and family of Morrisville, PA, uncle, Alan Meyers and family of Morrisville, PA, uncle, William Powell and family of Cora Peak, NC.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church with Fr. Kaspar, Celebrant. A Celebration of Life Potluck Reception to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Raphael Community Hall.
