Curtis Lindel Grubbs, age 78 of Fairbanks, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Curtis has gone fishing with the Lord.
Curtis was born on December 29, 1939 in Alabam, Arkansas to Grady and Leslie (Woorley) Grubbs. He grew up in Delano, CA. He moved to Bakersfield, CA and worked in sheet metal and air conditioning field. He raised his family in Bakersfield. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ, his family, working on old cars, helping other. Curtis never met a stranger. He was a father to the fatherless. Curtis moved to Fairbanks 3 years ago to be closer to his family.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife Sandra Grubbs of Fairbanks, daughter, Michelle Nobles and son –in- law John Nobles of Fairbanks. Grand Children Makayla and Sheldon Hansen, Jessica and Ben Ford. Great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Justice, Jaymi, Jennalee, and Jonathan Curtis Hansen, and Juniper and Millicent Ford, all of Alaska.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Jubilee Worship Center Assembly of God; 541 3rd St. at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Davis officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Blanchard Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at blanchardfamilyfuneralhome.com
