Mary McLeanDecember 26, 1936 ~ March 27, 2017 (age 80)
After a courageous fight, Mary took her last breath on this Earth while holding her daughter Jen's hand, and went on to the pearly gates of heaven, where she was greeted by her Savior, whom she believed in and loved eternally, and by her beloved son, Terry.
Mary was born Dec. 26, 1938, at Cutoff to Jennie and Fred Stickman Sr. Mary married Richard "Dick" McLean in 1962, and they were blessed with two children, Terry and Jennie McLean.
Mary loved blueberry picking, road trips and hanging out with family and friends. She loved going to Anchorage every year with her daughter to attend the state high school basketball tournament, and staying with her brother, Jim Stickman, and niece Laneil Stickman. Mary also enjoyed the Tribal Hall. Mary enjoyed her daily walks around downtown Fairbanks, always stopping in to see her friends at American Legion Post 11 while trying her luck at pull tabs.
Mary was a devoted Catholic and every Sunday could be found at Immaculate Conception Church.
Mary was greeted in death by her parents, Fred and Jennie Stickman; her husband, Richard; her son, Terry; brothers, Fred Jr. and Leo and Tina Stickman.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories in their hearts, her daughter, Jennie McLean; daughter-in-law, Laura McLean; grandchildren, Coby and Dale; brother, Jim Stickman; and numerous family and friends.
